Live the Capital through its gastronomic calendar

The European Capital of Gastronomic Culture turns Málaga into a meeting point for tradition, innovation, local produce and Mediterranean culinary culture.

Throughout 2026 and 2027, the city and the province will host a wide programme of activities for residents, visitors, industry professionals, institutions, producers and food lovers.

The calendar gathers a wide mix of plans: gastronomic routes, tastings, show cooking, professional meet-ups, training workshops, competitions, fairs, outreach actions, market activities, chef experiences and events built around local produce.

Every activity is part of a programme designed to bring Málaga’s gastronomy to every audience and to strengthen Málaga’s role as a European benchmark of food culture.
